Today, we talked about the artcle showing Japan's English proficiency has being dropping amang non-English speaking countries. Data indicates Japan ranks 53rd place out of 100 countries, even though Japanese gov. is making efforts for improvement. Max gave me some questions and I expressed my opinions. He analizes this problem to spot the reason and I was so inspired. Discussion was so interesting and he gave me new ideas. Thank you, Max and see you next time. |

I'm so glad to have your lesson again. We read the article about the heat wave in Europe. Japan is also experiencing early heat wave and possible power crunch. So, we spent much time discussing unusual weather, greenhouse effect, how we can deal with the surging heat, and more. Jo explained how greenhouse gases stay suspended in the atmosphere while drawing pictures. It was really impressive. Thanks for being my great teacher, Jo! Stay cool and see you next time!! |
