Vlada, some people liken him to Nixon or Reagan. Both of them were regarded as simply evil or stupid (from liberals, at least), but had left lots of great achievements when they vacated the White House. It was good that they were rather pragmatic than idealistic. I just wish those people to be proved right. |

John-san kindly gave me good resource for English pronunciation. Also, thanks to his instruction, I could confirm how native speaker use their tongue when speaking "ae" sound. Thank you, John-san. |

Hi, Peter-sensei I had a really good time on the trial lesson. Your lesson was really easy to understand and your advice was very helpful for me. And yesterday I tried to watch the movie with English subtitles, old and famous movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's". It was a little difficult for me to understand. So I will try once again today :) I'm looking forward to taking your lesson soon! Mariko |

Richard, the world is full of unexpected turn of events, as we just observed tonight. Being an American must be difficult sometimes, facing how democracy ends up in the "great" country. Brexit might be a laughable matter for people in other countries, but a bad president in the united states is NOT: he/she would be a nightmare for the rest of world too. Did Americans make a wise choice? Wait'n see. |

Today we went over several idioms from the last lesson and I asked which verb we should use with judo, 'play' or 'do'. She told me that 'do' is correct and we should NOT say ” I play judo." She often types some expressions and phrases in the chat box and they really help me a lot. Thank you! |

Today's lesson was focused on making original sentences using superlatives, such as "He is the most talented person I know." My son feels a little frustrated about not being able to express himself in English, but I think it's favorable tendency for him, since we could impove our English skill when we have something to convey to someone and he definitely started to have his own thoughts and ideas. Thank you always, Katherine :) |
