How amazing it was catching up with you after a long time! The fact that I've been hectic dealing with a lot of things for work, especially in the situation where I was required by the company to devote much time to preparation for an observation lesson for assessment at work, made it difficult for me to fully expose myself to an English environment for language learning, which afflicts my oral performance in English to some extent and put me down. This is because being able to express myself fluently in English is a huge deal for me in life. I had always wanted to speak English just like a native speaker of English. Needless to say, I do understand how hard it can be to acquire the native-like English ability. Yet, as someone who've reached the closer levels of that proficiency, I've struggled to accept it that my English is getting rusty and worse day by day. Anyway, all I need to do now is to keep trying and stay optimistic about the situation with a belief that, hopefully one day, I will be able to get that fluency back to me. Fingers crossed. 今日は相談にのってくれてありがとう、ブライディー!最近の英語力の衰えを感じ、落ち込んでいたので、話を聞いてもらって嬉しかった。これからまたポジティブに頑張るね! ps. I hope you comprehend what I'm talking about in Japanese here. If not, please ask me to help you with it in another lesson. |

Asuka-san Thank you for today's lesson. I have not spoken much about my hobby in English. So, it's difficult to explain with wording about the band. It is useful that you correct me the difference of nuance each time. Thank you very much. BR Shigekazu Wasa let's say, studio, microphone, amplifier |

Hi Mayumi-san, nice to see you again:) Thank you so much for always your wonderful lessons. It was really fun to take your lesson as always. It is the happiest time to be with you in my life. First, we talked about the jokes I made in my speech club meeting. As you said, jokes are very difficult, especially for Japanese people. I always feel Japanese have a difficult sense of humor than Americans at watching American TV commedy shows. The point of laughter is a little bit different, right? I will try to make something very simple and stupid the next time. Look foward to it! We then talked about the first impression. As you said, if you are happy and you can be confident because of the surgery, I think it's O.K. to take it as well. However, while appearance is important, how you behave becomes far more important as time progresses. If you look the part but fail to do what you have been asked or are bad-tempered and difficult, then no amount of image makeovers will help you succeed. The key to defining your brand is to pay attention to every element of the image you project. If you do so, I think your actions are consistent and acceptable to the majority of people. Thank you so much for the wonderful time. You made my day and I can't wait to see you. I'm looking forward to the next class. Take care and see you next time. |

Since I was so busy because of professors giving me lots of homework, I couldn't have a conversation with you, but today I'm so happy to talk with you! Sorry for my talking a lot about how terrible the professors are! I can't stop complaining about them, but I'll try to be nice to them as much as posible, considering the consequence ;) Can't wait to see you next time! Hasta luego. |
