 Today, we had a Lesson 6 of Power Topics for Business. Talking about salary directly with employees and their boss is unusual in Japan, but it was fresh topic for training for the case of having a chance to talk about it. In the end of the lesson, tutor showed me the pictures and I tried to explain about them. This was a challenging issue for me, and was a good training for explaining and presentation. Thank you very much for the lesson.

 After 6 months interval, we have a chance to speak each other. She graduated and working in England.Her concern in Japanese culture, so we speak about Kawasaki where her friend lives and travel to Kyoto using Shinkansen.  わからないことを質問するのは重要です。ですが、その表現ができなければ質問をすることすらできません。先生に質問する際の表現方法はほとんど形がきまっているので、主要な表現は丸暗記してしまえば間違いを掘り下げられるようになります。なぜ間違えたのか、先生の模範例との違いは何かなど、掘り下げていけば、正しい表現を丸暗記しなくてよくなりますので、楽です。

 授業は25分1単位での申し込みですが、連続で2単位申し込むと50分授業になります。30分授業ですと十分理解していなくても先に進まねばならなくなり、詰込み型の授業になりがちです。時間のあるときにはなるべく2単位での授業にして、しっかりと納得してから進むようにすると効果的です。Froulaine先生もしっかりと教えてくださいます。

 I felt a bit overwhelmed by her explanations today because she used several grammartical words such as modal, present perfect etc... But it's great that I can learn English grammars from a native speaker. Today's lesson was a bit challenging for me but very interesting. I couldn't stop inclining my head and body to the pc because I didn't want to miss any words she said. But actually there were several unfamilier words, so I'll review them later. I was glad that our connection today was very clear.
