 Generally speaking, you will better go to the market if you would like to know the culture of the country. I think you can also get to know the culture if you watch the advertising of that country. When I went to abroad, I firstly turn on the TV and watch the commercial films. Next, I buy the newspaper and see the ads on it. I can read the news of that country on website wherever I am, but ads for paper and CFs for local TV are both couldn’t watch on the internet. Therefore they reflects people’s concern and interest of the peoples very well. If you watch dozen of commercial films, two or three will make you laugh. It is precise and concise, you can find the meanings if couldn’t understand what they said. I recommend you when you go to the abroad, watch the CF first.
