We went over Donald Trump's inauguration speech and talked about his presidency this time. We need to be prepared for what his offensive and uncontrolled politics will cause, wishing he would quit asap. |

In the later half of today's double lesson, we read an article about a flying warehouse. We discussed that this idea was far beyond our imagination and we doubt its safety. I would be so scared if I worked for the company and were assigned the task up in the warehouse, but I would love the drone with a cat knocking at my door! |

Today we read an article about longliving animals. I was so shocked to learn that some animals live much longer than humans. There must be a lot more things we humans have not known yet. I enjoyed today's lesson. Thank you Max. |

Hi Andrew, it was a pleasure talking to you today. It's nice to talk to someone who understand what sales managers are like! I learned a lot from you today, and I appreciate that. By the way, your music is absolutely beautiful. I kept listening to it for a while after the lesson. You must be proud of it and I really envy you for your talent. |

This was our first lesson. We read Lesson 21 together and Mark taught me how to use "by any chance". Then we did role play practice, in which I bumped into a colleague whom I'd seen but never talked and I started the conversation. It's a challenging but fun. We also discussed about how hard it is to strike a balance between being friendly with coworkers and keeping a right distance from them. It was my pleasure to meet you, Mark.I learned a lot today. I'm looking forward to talking to you next time. Have a great weekend! |

We talked about traffic accidents caused by elderly drivers, and also about self-driving cars, today. I asked Frou to point out my mistakes and she taught me some of them. I misunderstood a usage of "mistake" as a verb. I also remembered the past form of "quit". It's still difficult for me to pay attention to grammars while talking. But I should try it. Thank you, Frou. See you. |

Thank you, Eric. In the coming lessons, I would like you to tell me more about the countries and places you've been, so that I know where to escape to when something really bad happens:p And of course it's always good to know where to travel to have fun..that is if I can ever afford it... I hope you had good time coaching this evening. Please take care of your knees. Talk to you next time. |
