The result of the presidential election was contrary to expectation. But so far Mr. Trump looks as if he replaced the hostile policy for reconciliation policy. Not only American people but also Japanese people should pay attention to his policies which will be adopted after he will be inaugurated as President.

We talked about the presidential election of USA. Two candidates are running the close race.The election result will be known by around noon tomorrow Japan time. At next lesson we will talk about what kind of influence the result of this election will have on not only USA but also the entire world.

There are many ways of views, that's why conflicts don't disappear. We have to make up our minds, black or white, but be tolerate to listen to others though to make a decision and to sympathize with others are not always compatible.

We sometimes have a rare people who challenges extraordinary thing. He might be laughed at, but it is this sort of person who makes innovation and change the paradigm.

I think people should work hard especially when they are young to know the value of job and money. After knowing severity of work and reality, they can appreciate free time. However, an opposite case won't work well like "An ants and a grasshopper."

I didn't know the implication of “half empty or half full.” We cannot know it from dictionaries, so your teaching is very helpful as usual!!

Thank you for the interesting article! Overworking is tacitly regarded as normal in Japan. Many workers in big companies cannot report the accurate working time because it is illegal. Those companies should think about work-life balance.
