In most countries where English is not native, globalization means speaking English.Speaking English promises high social status and salary. But perfect bilingual is rare. Either of them or both is sacrificed.

As you said, for majority who never go abroad or if any travel once or twice in their life, is English worth spending so much time? Those who don't like English say it is not necessary for them, but if they are told you don't need to study English, they feel excluded... It is a complicated issue...

Today I did the lesson 25 & 26 and learned expressions used for making an appointment and cancelling it. Ssome expressions were new to me. I learned how to use them through our role play. Thank you Max! I love those cat pictures too!

Today, we used an article about taking a efficient break.
In a break, we shouldn't read websites or check emails because they need many of the same mental processes that we use when we're working. And we should take short breaks early and often. And it's good to get out of the office. I had to expand vocabulary to read this article. I will read it again. Thank you, Max.
