We read the article of Japanese family registry system and make sure how to explain that to non- Japanese people. I think I worked out! Max, now you are the expert of the family registry, too. Thanks a lot. |

Hi, Mark. Thank you for the session. Poverty actually exists in Japan, but the poverty border depends on the feelings of the people. Children in poverty are a serious social issue. |

I had a good time talking about "The Loyal Wife". I didn't have time to prepare for the lesson so I was a bit concerned if I could find a hidden message in it. But Max led the lesson and let me get it. I agree with you, Max. There are lots more things which are more important than money. I don't want to be like that loyal wife! Looking forward to talking about "Confidence Level" next time! |

We have various problems all over the world, don't we? We might be able to improve the situation through changing our mindset. It'll be nice if we can change desert areas into eco-friendly power stations! |

Today, we read the article about the new sprawl phenomenon of the growing cities in African and Asian countries, which are a little different from the same phenomenon of western countries. It's a long story and I struggled to summarize it, but Max assisted it by giving me helpful suggestions. We enjoyed the interesting story and It was a good training by using new expressions by my operation. Thank you Max! |

Thank you for explaining the meanings of words in detail, Mark. I had completely misunderstood about "driver". I had thought it meant the people who drove into the country as immigrants though the sentence is awkward. I clearly understood that context.Thank you!! |
