Hi! My name is Iris, and I’m from the Philippines 🇵🇭. I’m a friendly and patient teacher who loves reading, writing, and connecting with people from different cultures. I always try to create a warm and comfortable space where students feel confident to speak and learn.

I have been teaching English for several years, including almost 3 years in Japan, where I taught both kids and adults in an EIKAIWA school. This experience helped me understand different learning styles and how to support students at different levels.

What motivates me to teach English is seeing my students improve and gain confidence. I’m passionate about helping learners express themselves clearly and naturally in English.

In my class, I focus on simple, engaging, and student-centered lessons. My strengths include correcting pronunciation, improving sentence construction, and helping you build your vocabulary. I also encourage you to speak more so you can become confident in real-life conversations.
