  Hello everyone! I'm excited to be here and share about myself. I am currently residing in the beautiful city of Nagasaki, Japan, although I am originally from Nevada, United States.

  Teaching is a passion of mine. I believe in creating a caring and supportive environment where everyone can feel comfortable to learn and grow. My husband is a lisenced speech pathologist, and our conversations about language and communication inspire me everyday. Together, we foster a desire to learn and grow, embracing the idea that we can all learn from each other.

    I love helping students find their unique strengths and empowered in their learning journeys. My teaching style is holistic; I focus on building connections and fostering each students learning styles as well as finding what motivates each student. I believe that understanding and addressing individual learning gaps is key to success, and I use data analysis to guide our lessons and ensure everyone is on track.

   Outside the classroom, I enjoy exploring in Japan with my family and friends, spending quality time with my husband and children, and diving in to Manga, anime, and english fantasy and historical fiction books. I'm a huge fan of trying foods from all cultures-theres something special about sharing a meal together!
