 In this class I talked about the story by A-bomb survivor Ms. Chieko Kiriake, which I learned at the Peace Memorial seminar held on August 6th in Hiroshima. I believe both we learned so many things in this lessen.

 We talked about the robotic technology Japan is ready to use to decommission the nuclear facilities of North Korea. Also the riots and huge demonstration in Hong Kong. People in Hong Kong want to judge apprehended suspects under their own rules not under Chinese rules. They want to be more independent. At the end, we went trough some vocabularies such as condone, epitome, fluctuate and pamper.

 We mainly talked about Reborn-Art Festival held in Tohoku to promote tourism and have more visiters to Ishinomaki. Most of visitors are from Tokyo and other areas and are not local people. Also, we discussed about internet security. Since my computer connects to the internet from particular IP Address for security reason, that made the internet speed of my computer very slow. Finally, we went over some vocabularies such as confiscate, detest, mock, feign, elicit, apprehend and commiserate.

 We talked about the disaster in the Kyoto Animation. The man suspected had a criminal record of robbery in 2012 and had mental illness. He thought the company stole his idea. Usually the person who causes this kind of crime has a strong grudge against the company, but he seems not to have any relationship with the company.

 In this class, I picked up the topic of MANDALA. Deborah sensei is an expert of
cultural anthropology and I could get profound reactions about these contents.

 We talked about the result of Eiken exam and disease I have. I have Cataract and Glaucoma on my right eye. I found it on the day I have a lesson and was very shocked. On the other hand, I was pleased to know that I passed the Pre-1st Eiken exam. Also, we talked about the aging society. Now, about 30% of population in Japan is over 65 years old, discussed about the best way for Japan to solve the problem. Each tax and social insurance system has pros and cons.

 We talked about the boy who was beat up at my junior high school, talked about problems schools were facing in Japan. Due to the stress and pressure students and teachers are getting from their work, they morelikely cause crimes such as sexual harassment and bullying.
