Hello, my name is Sienna! I grew up in Hong Kong, moved to the United States for school, and currently live in Washington, D.C. I am an avid reader, enjoy making music, and love a good conversation on virtually anything - from the weirdest beer you've tasted to Plato!
Over the past few years, I've taught English to Arabic speakers, and theater and foreign languages to elementary school kids in Washington DC. It's been amazing getting to know each of my students, having fun with them, and watching them progress.
Because of these experiences, I am very flexible in terms of my teaching style. I could read stories or put on puppet shows for kids, have casual conversations to help brush up your vocabulary, or sit down for a formal session on grammar and exam prep. My other strengths include explaining grammatical concepts, as well as helping with conversational English and writing.
Learning another language can be challenging but also exciting, and I look forward to meeting you and accompanying you on this journey!
P.S. I loverandom facts. Please enjoy this one:
