 She is very kind, always smiling, and creates an atmosphere where it is easy to talk with her. She tries her best to understand what I try to say. I tend to become nervous before the lesson starts, but once the lesson starts, I enjoy it so much that I forget time passes by. She shows much interest in Japanese culture, which makes me feel closer to her.
When I asked her about internet materials she uses during her lessons, she immediately uploaded various interesting materials on Skype chat. She is really a great teacher!

 We talked about typhoons and hurricanes that recently hit us, and their impacts on our lives. Then the topics moved on to people and cultures in Mexico comparing to the other countries in north and south America, which interested me a lot enabling me to catch Mexican atmosphere.  Today we talked on a couple of topics, one of which was about temples and shrines in Japan. Fabi had me try to explain the difference between them, which was difficult for me, for it includes not only their appearance but also their religious behaviors and atmosphere. Trying to describe what I'm not familiar to might be a good training.

 Today I got some feedback on grammar and vocabulary based on how I talked with her in a couple of recent lessons. She explained that star ratings are a kind of subjective evaluation for teachers, which may vary a lot between them, though such ratings are objective ones for students. Giving concrete feedback with her viewpoints on star ratings for each rating factor made lots of sense to me. She is a great tutor. Thanks.
