Charity in your country seems more active in Japan. It takes root there. That atmosphere is great! |

As a traveler, we have to be careful not to be deceived or fall victim to extortionate demands by a shop owner. But on the other hand, as we both feel, we are hesitant to negotiate with poorer people than us. |

It is often seen that poorer people are kinder and more cooperative than the rich. The rich may have become rich because they didn't share... |

Today, I wrote an essay about regenerative medicine and Mark corrected it with sophisticated expressions and changed some of the sentences into compact and clear ones. As a whole, it was improved to a beautiful essay. Also he defined the meaning of regenerative medicine to make the essay more understandable. Thank you for the great lesson, Mark! |

Thank you for sharing jokes about stereotypes in the UK. It was very interesting because I don't like stereotypes but people don't seem to be able to avoid them to make jokes. Understanding them is necessary to understand culture. |

Both the UK and Japan have the same problem on crowded trains, don't they? Women are usually victims, but sometimes men are accused falsely. Anonymity right protects one party, but it'll be sometimes unfair that only an accuser has it. |

Today, I submitted an essay I wrote and Mark checked and corrected it into the beautiful and sophisticated one. Additionally, he taught me the subtle differences of same kind of words. It helped me improve writing an essay. Thank you for your great teaching, Mark. See you next lesson! |

Mark, it is encouraging to know that even British people are enjoying open cars. At least, that some people manage to open the roof during summers. Japan is also rainy, but our wet atmosphere makes driving unbearable without air conditioning, especially in summers. Should I be brave, though? I will keep you in touch! |
