 I‘m very glad to know Tina-sensei & her two kids have watched “My neighbor’s Totoro” several times. I have another picture book related Cat-bus. I’d like to talk that story for them. There are a lot of types of Cat-bus in it. It’s very interesting.

 We talked about “an earthquake”. A lot of earthquakes are caused all over the world. How to protect ourselves from the fire or the earthquake training is held once a month at elementary schools in Tokyo. In Philippines, such demonstrations are also held in schools and even among citizens. I hope that the number of victims of natural disasters will decrease.

We talked about the weather in this season in Baguio and Karuizawa, flowers, COVID-19 situation, Vaccine and so on. Japan has changed the opening policy of numbers for foreign workers , from 3000 to 5000 a day.

 We used to be teachers in elementary school. We have a lot of time to talk about kids. Today’s topic was “adoption” that I requested. Tina-sensei told some stories which she knew about adopted children. Someone is happy in adoptive family, but someone isn’t happy in his / her life. We hope their happiness lives even if in the complicated situations.
