代講を引き受けてくれました！教材も用意してくれしかも話す機会をたくさんくれて感謝しています。
日本のことについてディスカッションしました。
ティーナのようにいきなりのレッスン交代であっても熱心に親切にしてくれてこういう講師が毎回代講ならばいいと思います。

楽しく25分話せて充実した時間でした。

Hi、Tina.
We talked about mainly the festivals, such as the Kawagoe local festival which I joined last week, the festivals held in Baguio, or in Philippines, and the Halloween festival and so on.
Those festivals had bee cancelled these 2 years. I hope we can enjoy those festivals from now on.

We always talk about how to live our lives with Tina-sensei. She is much younger than I am, but she has a very warm way of thinking, and I am learning a lot from her. I like her message in the icon “Be kind even when others are not”.

I asked Tina-sensei about the similar thing between Japanese elementary students and Philippines’．Also I shared seasonable flowers and Teru-Teru-Bozu. We had a great time. I’m looking forward to seeing her next time.

レッスン時間になっても、コールがなく、こちらから電話しても応答がなかったので少し不安になりました。
１分ほど遅れてコールがかかってきたのでほっとしました。
レッスンは、わかりやすくて良かったです。

I know that Tina-sensei doesn’t say to her children to study much hard. Me neither. I want my children to be happy no matter what happens. I want them to do whatever they want. They are growing up adults now. I’m very proud of my children's way to live. Thanks so much for listening to my family’s story, Tina-sensei.

“Tango-no-Sekku” is one of Japanese events for boys. I showed my son’s “兜（Kabuto）”to Tina-sensei. And I tried to read a picture book of “金太郎（Kintaro）” which is symbolized a Tango-no-Sekku doll. Next time, she will show the old Filipino tales. I can’t wait to hear that.

Today‘s topic was “Will Smith Apology” which I requested. We shared our opinions together. I was surprised to hear that if Chris Rock had sued for the beating, $350 M dollars Will Smith would have had to pay. Maybe Will Smith was lucky that he was not sued. Anyway violence will not solve anything, will it ?

ここのところジブリの映画について英語で説明することを続けています。世界中で鑑賞されている不朽の名作なんだなぁと改めて思います。今日は「めいとこねこバス」という短い絵本を英語で説明できるように準備。Tina先生と娘さんが一緒に聞いてくれて、お子さんと英語を話す機会は滅多にないのでとても得難い機会になりました。崖の上のポニョのトランプ（絵札）を話の流れの順に並べて、その説明もしてもらったら、お子さんは本当にすごいですね、完璧に覚えていて、いろいろわかりやすく説明してくれました。小さいうちから英語に慣れ親しみ自然に会話ができる！なんと素晴らしい！！がんばります。

I‘m very glad to know Tina-sensei & her two kids have watched “My neighbor’s Totoro” several times. I have another picture book related Cat-bus. I’d like to talk that story for them. There are a lot of types of Cat-bus in it. It’s very interesting.

友人みたいに、世間話が出来英語に自信が持てました。

“What is the key to happiness in life ?” We shared our opinion with Tina-sensei together. Our family’s mottos are
Take it easy. / It’s not a big deal. / Keep smiling if someone or something is bothering us. She agreed them. Also she added that “Keep healthy life” was also important key in our lives. Indeed, I totally agreed with her.

We talked about the pollen allergy, the Ukraine situation, the effect of the battle, political situation and so on.

We talked about “an earthquake”. A lot of earthquakes are caused all over the world. How to protect ourselves from the fire or the earthquake training is held once a month at elementary schools in Tokyo. In Philippines, such demonstrations are also held in schools and even among citizens. I hope that the number of victims of natural disasters will decrease.
