トライアルレッスンとして、彼女のレッスンを選択しました。こちらの回線の都合で、音声のみだったのですが、非常に丁寧で、真面目な人柄が伝わってきました。レッスン中はこちらの英語のレベルに合わせたスピードでしゃべっていただけたのでわかりやすかったです。最後に日本語になった時に、あまりにも流暢なのでびっくりしました。また彼女のレッスンを選択しようと思います。

In his lessons, I'm always practicing reading. I think his comments are always to the point. Additionally, his talk are also full of the human touch. He sometimes told me about his job, his countries (both Canada and the Philippines) and his family! Today, I had a great time with him.

She speaks in British English and it was the first time talking to a British English speaker for me, but the conversation was fun. We could share an idea about pets. And her smile relieved me. Understanding Brithish English is a challenging to me, but I like that. She will be my favorite teacher.

Mr. Barry and my son read an article about the storm on Saturn. He asked many question about it from math to science. My son is interested in the solar system and Mr. Barry sometimes made a joke, so my son really enjoyed his lesson!

一回目の予約は講師都合で当日キャンセルになり、今回が初めてのレッスンです。All Englishでお願いしていたかと思いますが、日本語がバリバリ入り、娘はうまく切り替えられず、愛想笑いで終わりました。手品なども英語初心者の子供の心を掴むのには良いのだと思うのですが、ある程度話せる子供は、「英語で話す時間♪」と楽しみにしているので、「レッスン」をしていただきたかった・・・と思います。とても残念な時間に終わりました。

3回目のレッスンです。リーディングから始まり、本人が理解していないであろうと思われる表現について丁寧に説明してくださったり、それに絡めて文法や語彙なども入れてくださったので、とても充実した時間になったようでした。

We continued reading the same story. I'm always encouraged by Barry's praise, "Good" or "Nice".
As my warming-up practice, we talked about tatoos and non-native teachers of English. That was nice talks! It's also good for me to express myself during the lesson.
