 It was our second time lesson.

In the first lesson, he gave me a list of English slangs.
So this time, we went through the list to guess the meanings
and Mr. Jamie H. revealed the answers.

It was fun.
But I'm not confident if I can use them in daily conversation. Haha.

Anyway, I found some kind of essence of the language,
which is quite similar to Japanese slangs.
I noticed that to understand slangs, we have to understand the sense of language.

 いつもの講師が休暇中なのでレッスンを受けてみました。日本に住んでいた経験があるので、日本語や日本文化が理解できるのは助かります。レッスンでは色々とネイティブが言うフレーズなどに言い換えてアドバイスしてくれます。他の講師に比べてまだ始めたばかりでなれないところもあるのですが、話しやすく優しい先生です。英語に自信がない人にはおすすめです

 本日の教材ではraiseがincreaseではなくexpress的な意味で使われていたのが理解できなくてちょっと混乱してしまいした。ですが、先生から丁寧に説明していただけたので覚えることができたと思います。英語で話している時にミスするとテンパってしまいますが、逆にそれが失敗体験として強く記憶に残りそうですね。またよろしくお願いします。
