Fenny chose an article of VOA for me, "I'm a feminist, says Barack Obama." We developed the topic to the way Tramp thinks and the difference of the numbers of refugees the US and Germany have accepted so far. Thanks to Fenny, I'm becoming more interested in talking about current events.

Vanessa's talk is always interesting. I talked about "Obon," so she also talked about a tradition after death in one area of Africa. She has an abundant ability of expression. Thank you for today's lesson, Vanessa.

Xandra and I did lesson VOA; When It Rains, Make Beer. I read the article and Xandra listened to it and gave me some advice about my pronunciation. I asked some sentences that I couldn't understand clearly and she explained it. Thank you for the explanation. We also talked about Mountain Day, my swollen ankle. I was happy to take your lesson. Thank you, Xandra. See you next lesson.

Today, I chose the article about "Mountain Day" a new official public day on Aug. 11 in Japan. I just knew the day a few days ago. It was interesting to know how the day was set up and that Japan has official public days the most in the Group of Eight, major powers, but people haven't appreciated the spirits and purposes of the days, just enjoying the longer holidays. Max always checks my words and expressions and correct them into sophisticated beautiful sentences. Also, his comments are really inspiring and enjoyable. Thank you, Max! See you next time.
