 Austin gave me a good lesson. We enjoyed talking about IT topic regarding Helpdesk. My listening skill was not so good and I needed to check the word spelling in Skype chat function. After 8 months blank I found I needed to learn English listening!

 Thank you for the lesson Sarah!! It was my first lesson on Eigox, and also, it had been years since I took ESL lessons. Sarah's lesson made me realize how efficiently we can learn a language when we take native speaker's lessons. Sarah was very nice and friendly during the lesson and I felt easy to express myself. I liked the lesson material, too. I could learn practical, natural English through it. Thank you again Sarah and I'm looking forward to seeing you next time!

 初めてのレッスンでした。
米国在住の女性の先生です。
非常に優しい先生で、しかも、非常に親切な先生でした。
向こうから、一方的に話さず、こちらが、まだ、なにか言おうとしている雰囲気を、素早く察してくれて、じっと待っていてくれるような、そんな感じの優しい先生です。
今回は、ほとんど、会話として成りたたなかったというのが、私の印象です。私は、独学でヒアリングをずっとやってきて、少しくらいは、先生の言っている事を理解できるかなと、高をくくっていました。しかし、いざ、実際の会話になると、ほとんど聞き取れず、また、話す事もできなかったです。話したい事はこうなんだけど、それが、口からでてこない。みたいな感じです。途中からは、思う様に話せない自分を感じるようになりました。私が言っている事を先生が理解できてないような様子も感じ取れて、なにも話せなくなり、無言の空間が続くみたいな、ビギナーにしてみれば、非常に恐怖とも言える様な時間が続きました。
(でも、決して先生が悪い訳ではありません。先生は、一生懸命に理解しようと務めてくれました。しかし、途中から、私が訳分からなくなり、知ってる単語を並べ立てるだけ、おまけに、日本語も混ぜながら話してしまったのが原因だからです)
そして、今回の事を通して、実際にネイティブの方と会話すると言う事の重要性を痛感しました。
自分の言っている英語は、文法上間違っているのだろうな、失敗だあ、とか、そんな感情から来る恥ずかしさや、緊張もあって、あっという間に時間が過ぎました。でも、なんとなくではありますが、ネイティブの方と、意思の疎通ができた事で、英会話って面白い!って、実感出来たことが、今回のレッスンの収穫です。うれしく思います。
これからは、失敗を恐れず、どんどん話して、すらすらと会話できるように頑張りたいと思います!

 Today's lesson was also fun.
The summer holidays end and a kindergarten has started from Monday of this week.
There was last pool at a kindergarten yesterday, and I think that my son is tired.
He has caught a cold.
The tempo often gave his lessons vigorously.
He was saying after a lesson, that my son was fun!!
By the way, He also like a toy story very much!
We are also looking forward to the next lesson.

 物語を読んでくれている間は、何故か先生のお顔が見えなくなりました。
残念に思ったのですが、英語で上手く伝えられませんでした。
最後の5分位は時間が余ってしまい、カナ先生が動画のURLを教えてくれました。
しかしレッスン中、こちらのパソコン設定により、
動画から流れる音が聞こえず、ただ眺めて終了となりました。
マイクを抜くと正常に音が出るので、レッスン後にみんなで動画を観賞しました。
他にも楽しい動画が多く、大盛り上がりでした。
どうもありがとうございました。
