i had a great time with you today.we finished reading the story about little miss Mary and the monster.there was a few words that i didn't know and i couldn't remember some of the words at the end but, i'm glad that i could learn some new words today.

Isabel is a kind and enthusiastic teacher. Today, I practised listening. After her reading aloud one paragraph in an article, I tried summarize it. Although I didn't listen to all the words she said, I guessed the whole meaning. Then I read actual paragraph and questioned the unknown words. It's effective practice for me. Isabel kindly explaind words and expressions clearly. Thank you and see you next time!

I took up three consecutive lessons today. At first we talked about difficulties to learn foreign languages. And then we discussed and debated euthanasia from pros and cons. Debating fosters my cognitive development surely. Thanks Kate for having a great time.

Today’s class was different from our ordinary style. I consulted Fergal-sensei on revision of my English study methods especially for speaking.
Fergal-sensei gave me some good advice including how to listen actively and not to fear mistakes. I decided to increase the number of lessons as I have felt the absolute amount of time for speaking English is insufficient in my environment. In addition to usual discussions with articles, I am to start classes for improving more natural daily conversational skills. I am looking forward to the new lesson from him.

It was our second lesson together with Joweena. We talked about alcohol and smoking problems in our countries. Since I live in China we were able to talk about different cases and cultures in the Phillipines, Japan and China. I found the lesson very interesting and stimulating.
