New year holidays are ending, holiday weight gain, tidy up decorations. What a hassle! Be prepared psychologically and physically to get back to work. Oh, What a pity! Nina, Thank you for today`s lesson, you are so charismatic, I love to hear your talk. See you soon. |

Great lesson as usual. I enjoy spontaneous discussions. But I like it when she sends an article beforehand so that I can prepare. Im learning new words every day and I wish I could speak more fluently. |

There was a fire in a public building in the city, victims were trying to flee the fire in the middle of the heavy smoke. The police probed into the cause of the fire and found out the motive of the fire, smoking, cigarette littering. Government should ban smoking in public places protecting nonsmoker from harmful sidestream smoke. In addition, it would decrease environmental and fire hazards caused by cigarrets littering and smoke. I see car`s drivers throwing cigarettes from theirs cars. That`s disgusting! They piss me off! There must be a fine, impose a fine on smoking on the street. Who is paying to clean the streets? They themselves with the tax they pay. Jackass. |

New Year started off, I have indulged myself in traditional New Year`s food, inordinate amount of foods. Now, I am going to slide out the scale from the drawer and measure my weight. Probably, I have to go to the gym to get my weight off. Today I learned the word "standoffish" from Nina. I could incorporate words and phrases as "inclement weather","taunting","affront","broody","trait","quota","kiss-off","stigma","exceed","predicament","bite the dust","go-getter","creephole","willing to do","strain","atrocity","infringement","glitch","quell","forgery","microbe","parasite","provision","consignment","regulate","demean","frisk","sprout","unravel","galvanize","resuscitate","refurbish","pristine","ring a bell","casually mention","take it well,","see the light" and so on. Nina thanks for today`s lesson. See you soon. |
