いつもレッスンありがとうございます。息子は毎回リラックスしてレッスンを受けています。時々、話が脱線しますがちゃんと息子の話を聞いてくれて息子も喜んでいます。 |

Dear Ms. Katherine, thank you for teaching English to my daughter! She is enjoying your lesson so much and looking forward to next lesson every time. It's something never happened since she had started taking online English lesson. So it means a lot for her. I rarely write this kind of feedback, but I just want to show my appreciation for your great lesson and warm feedback. |

In this lesson we read an article entitled 'France bans smartphones in school'. I read it aloud first and we checked out vocabulary. Then we discussed based on the article. I learnt some new words, phenomenon, publicity stunt, and extra-curricular. It was interesting topic and serious issue in Japan as well. Discussing my opinion about social issues is difficult because unconsciously I try to use difficult words as I think in Japanese. However, I realized that simple expression is okay but still trying to use new words I learn in lesson is important to improve. |

I enjoyed talking about the article, but it is a little hard to tell the summary of the article. I have to make an effort to tell the summary of any article as soon as possible afte reading it. Thank you. |

We enjoyed talking about snacks, such as Pringles. We discussed our favorite flavor of Pringles, and spent a blast time without knowing. |

We discussed skin color. Basically, feature of our body parts is determined and controlled by gene. Therefore, I think we can’t control our basic skin color physically. |

Today, I aked Mark to check my speech script and corrected it into natural expressions. As always, his suggestion are very helpful and he gave me different expressions such as "lightbulb moment""detective""organized""stubborn""enforce". Thank you for the valuable advice and see you soon. |
