I am grateful for a pleasant lesson. I am dreaming of improving English while having fun. Japanese lecture, TAD is too good. 50 points is too cheap! |

In this lesson we read an article entitled 'The FBI said I was my parents stolen baby - but I found the truth'. I learned new words such as ' trawl', ' doo-wop singer' and 'vanish'. By reading articles, it's interesting to know names of specialist's occupation such as 'investigative journalist' and 'genealogist'. |

In this lesson we continued reading an article entitled 'The FBI said I was my parents stolen baby - but I found the truth'. I learned new words such as 'clash', 'wrestle', and 'swab'. Mark described these definitions clearly with examples so it was easy to understand. Also he helped me guessing the meaning from the context. |

We talked about "futurists" who study our future. The topic they study is resources, water, electric technology such as robots, and so on. Speaking of robots, I think a lot of people will be lazy because they rely on their robots completely. Not to be so, I thougt we have to be careful about our health condition. Thank you for today's funny lesson, Mr,Vlada. I'm looking forward to talking about great movies and anime!! Take care!! |

In this lesson we read an article entitled 'Half of world pupulation will be short-sighted'. It was interesting topic which is a big issue in Japan too. I learned few new words which were 'onset' and 'myopia'. Also I didn't know the expression of 'short-sighted'. After reading aloud, we discussed about it. When I am not sure the appropriate word in English to explain what I want to tell, it is very good practice and it's enjoyable to describe things I want to talk about. Dilhara corrected my grammatical mistakes and some pronounciations. |

Today we talked about the article featuring 26-year-old female graduate student who invented a great green idea that changes huge quantity of flower waste from each temple after ceremony into useful products such as essential oil and organic manure. It would also contributive to avoiding river pollution because most flower waste has been discarded in the river. She is now trying to develop the system for actual use. Furbulous! Mark explaind all of my questions for me to understand easily. Thank you Mark as always. See you next lesson! |
