Hi, Terrilyn. Thank you for your selection of the article about natural disasters. We cannot prevent natural disaters from happening. What we can only do is preparation. Houses should be build firmly in Japan so as not to be broken by earthequakes or strong winds by typhoons. We should have water and food in stock in preparatopm for natural disaters. We also need to evacuate when an alert comes. We should not ignore it.
