This was our first lesson and we began with our self-introductions. Teacher Monobhana has had many international experiences and can speak five languages. It's amazing! After self-introductions, we discussed about food waste issues based on an article she introduced, but also we talked about Indian and Indonesian social situation like food waste, starvation and economic situation, food bank activities, fat wedding ceremony etc. It was so stimulating lesson. Today, we talked about the event that Japan seceded from IWC. Whales are on the edge of extinction and many countries worry about if Japan may accelarate it by its commercial whaling. Bryan explained the current situation about this issue and I learned the special terms.
