 A really useful lesson for my son. Before we got to the textbook, Charles started off the class with a short conversation asking the plan for the weekend and making my son feel comfortable to speak of himself.

 Today I walked with Michelle on Mt. Showa, an artificial mountain in Osaka.
It is a beautiful park with cherry blossoms in spring and colored leaves in autumn.
For a 73-year-old man, walking is a physical exercise
and English conversation is a brain exercise.
It was a very fun conversation.

 We mainly talked about the formal talk between Prime Minister, Suga and President Biden. Prime Minister Suga went to the United States to meet President Biden as the very first foreign leader visit. They pledged to work together to address the global threats of Covid-19 and confirmed their new era friendship. Their ties get stronger. They advanced a shared vision for a free and open Indo-Pacific based on our commitment to universal values and common principles, and the promotion of inclusive economic prosperity. Japan resolved to bolster its own national defense capabilities to further strengthen the Alliance and regional security. The United States restated its unwavering support for Japan’s defense under the U.S.-Japan Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security, using its full range of capabilities, including nuclear. They exchanged views on the impact of China’s actions on peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region and the world, and shared their concerns over Chinese activities that are inconsistent with the international rules-based order, including the use of economic and other forms of coercion. They recognize the importance of deterrence to maintain peace and stability in the region. We underscore the importance of peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait and encourage the peaceful resolution of cross-Strait issues. We share serious concerns regarding the human rights situations in Hong Kong and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The United States and Japan recognized the importance of candid conversations with China, reiterated their intention to share concerns directly, and acknowledged the need to work with China on areas of common interest.

こちらのコメントをチェックされていますので、辛辣なコメントは書かないことをオススメします。
というのも、辛辣なコメントを書いた数時間後(就寝時間直前)に、Skypeで個別に、辛辣なコメントに対してのチャットが届きました。
謝罪ではなく、どちらかというと逆ギレの内容です。

運営を通すように伝えましたが、チャットは続きました。
どうすることもできないと感じ、運営側に事実を報告し、二度と連絡はしないと報告はきましたが、その後、評価やレビューの書き換えがされ、レッスンレビューにもご自身の主張をまだ書かれています。

辛辣なコメントを書きましたが、状況は理解しているつもりです。
ネットワーク不良でも、スマホでのレッスンでも、対応が良ければそこまでのマイナスなコメントにはなっていないということを理解できないことが非常に残念です。

運営を通してほしいと伝え、Skypeをブロックし、直接連絡を取りたくないという意思表示をしたのにも関わらず、最後に評価やレビューの書き換えをし、あらゆる手段で伝えようとしているところに、恐さだけが残っています。

運営を通じ、講師から、我が家のレッスンは引き受けないと連絡がきていますが、なぜ、上から目線なのか…理解に苦しみます。
