Thank you for another fun discussion, Serge. Today's theme was a socially acceptable age for living with one's parents in Japan, which was related to the topic we discussed last time. I was surprised to learn that living with parents after the age of 20 or something is not to be seen as a societal norm in the West even though the one is supporting their parents. Also, it was interesting to know the difference that while Japanese parents tend to blame themselves when their child continues to live with them not making a contribution to the household income, parents in the West try to force their child to move out home and make them live independently. I would like to take a deep dive into where the difference comes from some other time. |

今日は旅行に関するフリートークでしたが、いつものように興味を持って聞いてくださいました。 先生の発話の中に参考になる表現が度々出て勉強になります。 もともとサージ先生は話す速度、語彙などを生徒のレベルに合わせるのに長けていますが、日本に来られてからよりはっきり明瞭に話されるようになったかな？と感じました。 イギリスにいる時の話し方もリスニングの練習になるので手加減無く話してもらおうか、それとも聴き取りを楽にして私の文法の崩れを減らすことに注力するか、悩ましいです(笑) |

先生の方のトラブルで開始が若干遅れましたが、終了時間も伸ばしてもらえたので規定時間の授業は受けられました。発音、文法などの詳しい修正の他、私が苦手とするリスニングついてもいろいろなアドバイスをいただき感謝しております。ただ、自己紹介のビデオよりは早口の授業だったので、私にはついてくのがちょっと大変だったところがありました。今回は教材の途中までしかできなかったので、また続きを受けられればと思います。ありがとうございました。 |

発音が素晴らしくテンポよくレッスンが進みました。特に何が悪いとかではないのですが、また受けたいかと聞かれると悩ましいです。良くも悪くも先生がとても慣れていて、テキストにある通りの設問で流して終わった印象を受けました。 後日追記：レッスン後のフィードバックがありませんでしたので評価を変えました。何度か受講されている方の口コミでフィードバックがなくなったということは見ており、まぁそういう先生なんだろうとは思っていましたが、まさか初めてのレッスンでフィードバックがないとは驚きました。強い言葉を使いたくないので「絶対受けたくない」にはしていませんが、まぁ二度は受けないでしょうね… |
