 We practiced IELTS speaking. Today's topic was traveling. First, we talked about my trip to the U.S. - several years ago, I visited the Smithsonian Museum. If I remember it correctly, there are two parts of the museum: airplane and nature. Then we discussed the negative impact caused by international tourists who visit Japan - before the COVID-19 pandemic, the gradual increase of foreigners sometimes bothered local people.  “Ikigai” is very difficult topic to think in English even in Japanese. Now, I think it’s so interesting and useful topic to think about it. Of course it depends on each human being and the situation, but in my case I feel something special “ikigai” when I can contribute to others or society. Someone connected with me feels happy makes me really happy. Avelyn-sensei is a good listener and I’m glad to exchange our opinions each other.
