Every weekend, I enjoy running. Tokyo was quite hot on last Sunday, the temperature was exceeded 86 degrees Fahrenheit. In the morning I planned the 20km run, but I stopped running at the 16km point from the heat. Not so far from 16km point, there is the park remaining the several ancient farmer houses and old streets. I dropped in there for water. The house was built over 100 years ago, but it was cool enough even though outside temperature may exceeds 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Roof was made bunch of reeds, wall was made by consolidated soil. Room was dark, but very cool even though there was no air conditioning equipment. In urban area we can stand few minutes without air conditioner. It seems we haven’t caught up with ancient people’s technology, yet. |
