Today, we talked about the interesting article worth thinking, "choice for assisting dying". It's a story about 104 years-old scientist who chose assisting dying because he became unable to continue his study for his aging health condition. I was surprised to know that some countries allow people to choose assisting dying not only because of ultimately incurable diseases but of intension to voluntarily end their life and I learned there are more various ways of thinking about our life in the world, which broadens my horizons.
