Hi Mayumi-San, happy to see you again:) I missed talking to you too. It is so hard to make a reservation of your lesson because your teaching is very popular. It is so sad that we can't spend as much time as we could have wanted. I wish I could see you more. We talked about the roles of shrine. The greatest Shinto impurity is death, and it's always considered taboo. On the cotrary, Buddhism teaches how to escape the agonies of life and to reach nirvana, or enlightenment. Therefore, most Japanese go to Shinto shrines for occasions related to this life such as Omiyamairi, baby's first shrine visit, or weddings, and go to Buddhist temples on occasions related to life after death, such as funerals. I always feel that it is a little difficult to explain about religion, social customs in Japan, and Japanese mind. Let's talk about interesting topics next lesson. I can hardly wait next lesson. You can't imagine how much I'm dying to see you. See you next lesson!

Bryan gave me some material to learn how to pronounce vowels. He showed me how the way English sound produced is different from Japanese. English sound uses more throat. We also worked on a tongue twister to practice a sound. It was fun! Bryan, I've determined to speak English just like you someday soon! I can't wait our next lesson.

Today, we talked about the article on raising tax on sugar to decrease the obesity of children in Norwey. Mark pointed out the problem causing unfair situation for tax payers and the idea that parents shouls teach their children how to become independent that will be helpful for their future. He always indicates various point of views from articles by deeply thinking. Thank you, Mark for positive and active lesson. See you next time.

Hi Nix! Nice talking to you!
Thank you very much for giving me enjoyable lessons as always. I could proceed on-line material today. Regarding the topic in the material, you gave me a good idea which I can wear sunglasses to not to be caught by others when I sleep in the boring meeting. I will try to do that in next meeting! :) Anyway, I really appreciate that you have always made a lot of laughter in our lessons.
Catch you soon!

Today we continued to read the article about birds. The article was really educational. I learned a lot of things about birds now. It included good vacabraries as well. Max, thank you for the review comment. Your examples made me laugh! I especially like the worm burger served from the fry through service and cat attending the zumba lesson!
