We talked about the situation that education is put in both countries, the UK and Japan. We used the word 'political football'. Thanks for the lesson. I did not expect an online lesson to be this good. Very productive and cost efficient. Aslo, I am a shy person when it comes to speaking in English. But, Ashley sensei was very nice and friendly. She made me feel as if I was talking to her in Japanese. In other words, My English came out of my mouth naturally without any hesitations or such. I think I've overcome my shyness since I had Ashley sensei for my lesson. Nobody could have done it better. Again, thanks a lot for your time, Ashley sensei! |

Tonight Anthony-sensei showed me some quotes from Hamlet, and I found it was very useful. We read out several idioms and made example sentences with them. It's very interesting to know that old phrases are still used in a daily conversation, and I am happy to learn new vocabulary. I think I may want to look up where those phrases were written in the book. Thank you for tonight's lesson. Hope we can continue on. |
