We talked about the article of the President Trump having allegations that the former vice president Joe Biden pressured Ukraine to fire its top prosecutor and threaten to withhold aid as part of a U.S.-European anti-corruption. Also we talked about an article that the President Abe signed an infrastructure agreement to link Europe and Asia as a counter to China's ambitious Belt and Road strategy. At last, we went through few vocabularies, appease, allay, alleviate, verify, vindicate and validate. |
