I know that Andrew-sensei is a big fan of Japan. So I explained about “Osechi”. Amazingly each ingredients in Osechi has its own meaning. On the half way, he was able to guess the meanings. He taught me useful new words immediately as well. We had a great time. |

Today, we had a free-talk lesson and started with a small talk about how we spent our new year's holidays. And then related to that, we discussed how less meaningful it could be to set new year's resolutions. We concluded that personal goals have to be something that isn't liked to time, even though we understand that New Year's Day could be a perfect day to turn over a new leaf and stop or start doing something. And then, we spent the rest of the time on quick Q and As. Sadie gave me clear and concise explanations. I like the positive vibe she gives off, and it makes me feel relaxed during class. |
