Hello there! Greetings from the sunny shores of the Philippines! 🏝🇵🇭 My name's Allan, and I'm here to make learning English a blast! For over five years, I've been on a mission to spread the joy of English teaching. It all started back in junior high when I got a taste of teaching during a student-teacher program. Picture it: me, introducing freshmen to the world of Arts, all in the delightful language of English. Oh, and did I mention I was also a budding feature writer for our school's paper? Now, let's talk culture! I've got a soft spot for Japan, thanks to some family ties there. From mastering the art of chopsticks to indulging in mouthwatering sushi, tempura, maki, ramen, tonkatsu, and my personal favorite—takoyaki—Japanese culture has always been close to my heart. Plus, who doesn't love a good anime binge or Japanese drama session? Yep, I'm guilty as charged! One thing's for sure: a trip to the Land of the Rising Sun is right at the top of my bucket list. My journey into the world of international teaching kicked off with a Japanese student from Nagoya-shi, Aichi. We hit it off like a house on fire, bonding over language and culture. Thanks to her, I dove headfirst into learning Nihongo and exploring the wonders of JPop music. Even though we're miles apart, we've stayed close buddies, keeping up through social media. Fast forward to today, and I'm rocking online English lessons with students from Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Latin America, Europe and the Middle East - North Africa region. I am a Certified Professional Trainer for PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) and was even featured on the social media account of a renowned TEFL training provider in the UK. I also served as a global brand ambassador for an ESL company and was featured by an ESL content creator based in Turkey. I'm all about setting goals, spreading positivity, and having a ton of fun along the way! Whether you're brushing up on pronunciation, preparing for international English tests, diving into business English, or aiming for fluent conversations, I've got your back. Armed with a Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (a CELTA equivalent) and a slew of specializations, I'm ready to make your English journey a breeze. Mata ne!
