Hello! My name is Maria. I work in the construction industry. However, teaching is my passion so I teach English part-time. I have been teaching English for about 10 years now. I have taught students of different nationalities, age groups, and proficiency levels. I have taught different kinds of classes from Daily News, Conversation, grammar, TOEIC, TOEFL, just to name a few. I always make sure to build a friendly and motivating atmosphere for my students. I always make sure to make my students feel relaxed and happy during class. I have a TEFL certification and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines. I love reading, traveling, cooking, yoga, photography; and I am very interested in animal rescue. In fact, I have 20 cats and 2 dogs at home.
