 Today we talked about an article about the barriers that women in the U.S companies who are trying to acheive leadership positions often encounter. It was a very interesting article, which interviewed with women who had an experience of trying to take a top position and did analysis on why making it to the top in the U.S companies are still so hard for them. It says there is deeply routed discriminations against women and it's hard to change. I learned many good words and expressions including C-suite, pipeline, get in the way, stumble, taking a massive swipe at, exit package and hanging around a right circle. Thank you Max!

 I enjoyed this lesson as usual. Today we used a text to study a grammar point. I learned a lot of using 'can' and 'could' and how to select the word which is more suitable for a certain situation. My teacher gave many samples to consider the situation to select the word. It was very effective way to practice a lot today's points. Thanks my teacher.
