 Today teacher Froulaine and I talked about title of Japanese anime. I mentioned some anime title would be difficult to translate. Not limited to title, Japanese anime are hard to translate because sometimes the artists creates the new words. For example “Hokuto-no-Ken”(FIST of the North Star) is a hero Kenshiro’s fighting story as you may know. He has very many deathblows, perhaps most famous one is “Hokuto-hyakuretsu-ken”. That means… um… Oh! I can’t translate!
