It`s that time of year again, time for plenty of holiday magic, Christmas and New Year. People scurry around, flap around to get gifts to their beloved families, relatives and friends. Christmas decoration all over the city. I love the Christmas`s ambience. Today we started off with childbirth and a bunch of other topics and I learned through the lesson words as tattletale,telltale and tender loving care(TLC). I could incorporate some words and phrases as "solidarity","transfusion","lackluster","reanimate","galvanize","prolific","scruple","debacle","garner","placate","disgruntled","detour","propagate","presume","vanish","petrify","squabble","endeavor","adjacent","belligerent","hefty","precept","frenetic","gregarious","deadly stinky","see the light","gulp the problem","slowpoke" and so on. It was another fun conversation. It was also good that I could try using a sharing screen function. But when I started talking about what I was not prepared in advance, I felt at a loss, and so I kept talking until I felt I really "hit the target." Thirty-minute conversation per week is not enough, I know, to get the feeling that I am able to feel comfortable in expressing myself. However, this the best way that I can have right now. I may increase the hour in the near future, but in the mean time, I hope you will continue, as you have been, walking with me until I reach the point where I really feel good about myself while talking in English. I always appreciate your continued support. It's good to have someone in the similar generation as me. |
