Tolerance for alcohol depends on metabolic ability of liver and expression of alcohol dehydrogenase, an responsible enzyme for alcohol metabolism. Furthermore, we discussed which is tolerable for alcohol, men or women. In general, women are intolerable for alcohol because of estrogen, liver size and moisture content in the body.
