Freezing cold is the word I would say to define today. I was close to defy a chilly stroll but gave up. The comfort, coziness and laziness beat the hardship. Incarcerated in my cramped apartment but it definetily had a silver lining I could cram for Eigox lesson. I hope the dread and harrow winter passes like shooting star , passes by like a flash. Today I learned the words "tuck shop" and "greasy spoon" and "rosebuds". Katherine, thank you for today`s lesson. I hope the new year brings you lot of joy and happiness!

If I could flick a wand and get something I would get a brain that memorizes English words studying just one time and not forget anymore. Katherine, please cast a magic spell on me to get that. Today I learned words as "neutered(castrate)" and "beer goggles" I presume that we all got beer goggles in our lives and maybe have a one-night stand and a stomach-churning , and we talked about Meccano, an educational toy teaching basic mechanical principles like levers and gearing, invented in England. Katherine, thank you for today`s lesson, you rock today, I really enjoyed it, as always. See you soon.

A letter from Grace Bedell 11 years old to the future president of USA.
I have got 4 brothers and part of them will vote for you any way and if you will let your whiskers grow I will try and get the rest of them to vote for you. You should look a great deal better for your face is so thin. All the ladies like whiskers and they would tease their husbands to vote for you and then you would be President .

I used to have a gathering with friends playing pool and batting around the childhood and schooltime when we were singles. We used to toot our own horns, but we didin`t consider us as gabby, some of them was a quircky one. We always put down our complaints, letdown, setback to our parents, we were typical adolescents We certainly did not do anything proud that we could say "take a leaf out of our book". Maybe we left behind something pending in our adolescence and we caught up after been grown-up. Turning grown-up we learned to choke back our complaints and clam up at workplace. Now we are trying to claw back our adolescence flocking every now and then. We learned to fend for ourselves. Now and then we kick up a fuss when we get really wasted. We also learned to talk around and not o level with our subordinates and learned shove around our subordinates or co-workes. Fond memory.

Half the time, I disrupted friendly relationship by saying indiscretions, nipping, unfixable and irreparable words. I deeply regret it.

katherine! From early on I was a mischievous and evil boy, I used to throw stray cats into the river, caught flies and left them without wings. That time I didn`t have many toys to play, let alone a tv to watch or video game. My pastime were marbles, tag ,hide-and-seek and others that I don`t remember. I didn`t need to hit the books, or being like a nerdy in front of the computer. It sounds sour grapes cause I was not well-off but I think I had a pleasant and HEALTHY childhood playing outside the house. At school I was a shy boy, not a silver-tongued devil far beyond your expectation. I was even scared to raise my hand to the teachers, let alone talk the leaders into leading the others to mischief.

Thank you for sending me the links. Fish & Chips are amazing. They seem to be enjoying every adventure they have. And I enjoyed watching the Jelly Springer show. They dissed a lot! I also enjoyed listening to how Mei-chan is manipulative with you. I am looking forward to our next lesson!

I learn a vocabrary "bottle everything up". In the book Bob bottles everything up and waites for James letting him go outside for doing his business. I also learned ruin-in, quirks, titbit, slaloming around, scramper away, and tracksuit. Thank you Katherine.

I learned good vocabraries today including "dis(speaking disrespectfully")", "lull (soothing, causing sleep)", "to sink in(entering the mind)", "I will get you for that (I will get you later)", and "rain down on (fall or drop down on somthing like a rain)". It's interesting to learn swear words because Japanese don't swear as much as English people do and maybe that's why we have limited swear words. I can't wait our next lesson. Thank you Katherine!

Today I introduced my cat Shake to Katherine's cat Mei-chan. Being shy, he blushed and run away once. But after a while he came back and walked around the PC monitor, hoping to take another look at the beautiful cat. Maybe I should teach him how to strike a good conversation with a lady!

We continued reading the book on Bob. I learned some good vocabraries such as bossy (a bossy person always tell other people what to do), cooing (speaking softly and lovingly to a baby or a pet), easing into "to become gently introduced or accosutomed to something new), jewel/diamond ( a person or thing that is treasured, esteemed). Thank you Katherine. I am looking forward to our next lesson!
