誕生日の過ごし方について語りました、国が違えば少しずつパーティのコンセプトも違うので面白かったです。

レッスンのほとんどをなんと豆腐の話で占めてしまいました、調理法や食べ方、味の違いなどです。外国の方は豆腐に全く味を感じないようですが安価な豆腐と高価な品の違いなど説明しました。

In the hush of evening we talked about what and when we usually get carried away, get our wish or wander around in our lives, favorite store that we frequently pop into, mutual respect should be one of the ground work to build a good relationship, feel like a fish out of water, there is still a concept that we Japanese are honest, trustworthy abroad, although these days Japanese companies are revealed with frauds, corruptions, briberies, illegal dealings and what not. 日本や外国での子供を持つ難しさや病院の産婦人科、健康保険の現状について
色々討議しました、面白く、かつ勉強になりました。

今日食べた夕食の話からはじまり、大阪、東京の地元食の話に発展しました。
大阪の食い倒れの話や京都の着倒れまで種々、話は飛びました。

新作、旧作の映画の話題で盛り上がりました、自分が過去に読んだ海外SF作家についても聞いてもらいました。

色々な詐欺被害について話しました。個人的経験や日本のオレオレ詐欺などにも言及しました。
いつも生徒の話を辛抱強く聞いてくださるので感謝しています。

ダイエットと薬の話になりました。最近では常にダイエットしてるような感覚になり
好物である炭水化物いっぱいの食事をすると罪悪感に悩まされます。

件のプリンセス結婚騒ぎにふれました、日本人がどう思っているのか伝えたところ非常に驚かれました。

It was a nice lesson. My son still needed some assistance from me in expressing himself in English but he was more confident in speaking English than before.

娘はとても楽しかったようです。

自家用車の使用感、頻度について話しました。

Today we talked about nations that are in shambles, any investment is fraught with risks, Japanese houses are mired in junks because it is a heartbreaking to toss the stuff in the trash can. Lower House election, How hard is to back politician in an election to the hilt in these days, early voting system in Japan, nudge people to vote, buff ours beloved cars, and demise of small bookstores due to the online shopping.

貧困の連鎖をもたらす原因や教育の問題についてシビアな話をしました、またお願いします。

Now my son almost finished Smart English 6. It is a big progress since he first started the lesson through EIGOX in early 2020, starting Smart English 1, when the pandemic started and everyone had no place to go but to stay home. Learning English with internet such as EIGOX has proved to be a great tool with less effort not requiring commuting or paying unreasonable money. Only downside of EIGOX is that it does not have many choices in textbook for school students , which is currently only Smart English. I have to find another textbook for remote study as my son has completed all series of Smart English from 1 to 6. Overall I found EIGOX very useful combined with experienced teachers like Charles. Thank you.
