言語の持つ側面について討議しました。英語、スペイン語・・それぞれの特徴など広く浅く、
興味深く話しました。

西洋と日本の美に対する基準について話しました。
麗人の定義も定石はないので面白かったです。

It was fun to read a story about Emma Watson of Harry Potter. My son was really interested with reading it by himself and asked me a help for words that he did not understand. Let us talk about Lord of the Rings and what the inscriptions tell.

対中国に対する日本の防衛姿勢や尖閣問題について話しました。
微妙な問題もきちんと対応していただけるので感謝。

英語能力の評価基準について話しました。
各インストラクターの判断があまりに違うので、つい突っ込んでしまいました。

老人のワクチン接種について話しました。
各国のシステムの違いは面白いです。

ダイエットについて話しました。
いかに効率的に体重を減らし健康維持を心がけるかという内容でした。

Charles tried to make my son speak by raising topics he seemed to be interested with such as a plane model, Nintendo Switch. My son tried hard to speak with his own words the characters in Smash Bros that he liked, which was fun to see.

懐かしい昔のアメリカ系TV番組の話で盛り上がりました。白黒の６０年前ぐらいのTV番組は
インストラクターの方にとっては古すぎたテーマだったかもしれません。

他人との付き合い方について、色々話し合いました。
結構深いところまで話ができたので楽しかったです。

We had a great lesson as always. My son tried to speak of his plan in the weekend although ended up nothing came to his mind as he struggled to speak in English. We will wait and see. Thank you.

文化やジェンダーの違いについて話しました。
国が違えば認識も違うので興味深い論議になりました、またお願いします。

持ち合わせていない自分を恥ずかしく感じました。

ニュース記事を使用したレッスンで、
リーディングの後、記事に注意事項を書いたレビューを送ってくれました。あと、落ち着いた話し方でどう思ったのか、概要を教えて…など鍛えられるなと思いました。

A really useful lesson for my son. Before we got to the textbook, Charles started off the class with a short conversation asking the plan for the weekend and making my son feel comfortable to speak of himself.
