Hello! My name is Danica, and I’m from the Philippines. I’m 25 years old, a college graduate, and a TEFL-certified English teacher with more than a year of ESL teaching experience. I’m a friendly, patient, and caring person who enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to music, and having meaningful conversations. What motivates me to teach English is seeing students become more confident when expressing themselves. I believe learning English should be enjoyable and comfortable, where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace. My lessons are friendly, interactive, and adapted to each student’s needs. I particularly enjoy conversational English, and I can help students improve their speaking, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. One of my strengths is gently correcting pronunciation and helping students express their ideas in complete and natural sentences.
