Hi, I'm Doug! I'm from London in the UK but now live in Budapest, Hungary. I've previously also lived in Japan, so definitely I like to travel! I have five children aged 17 through to 32, and an adorable golden labrador dog (called Yuki). So, I love family time and spending as much time and energy on my children as possible, even though they are now grown up and almost independent. Otherwise, I am always enegetic and positive, and love keeping fit through sport and exercise. In my downtime, I watch a lot of movies and love daily cooking for the family. Of course, I'm a big fan of Japanese food. I teach English because I really enjoy being able to use my experience, passion and skills in helping others. I believe that I am patient, calm and engaging as a teacher, with a particular ability to help shy or more introverted students to find their voice.
