Hi! My name is Shermira, and I’m from South Africa 🇿🇦. I’m a warm, patient, and encouraging person who loves working with people from different cultures. In my free time, I enjoy learning about psychology, personal growth, and finding creative ways to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I’m motivated to teach English because I truly enjoy helping people gain confidence in themselves. Language can open doors, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see students feel more comfortable expressing their thoughts and ideas in English. I’m especially passionate about creating a safe, relaxed environment where students feel supported and never afraid to make mistakes. My lesson style is friendly, structured, and student-centred. I adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s goals and personality, whether that’s improving conversation skills, preparing for work or study, or building everyday confidence. My strengths include correcting pronunciation clearly and gently, explaining grammar in simple terms, and helping students sound more natural when they speak.
