 We read the article about Italy's largest river which is experiencing drought. We expanded the conversation and discussed some theories about climate change and what is causing people to act out.  Wonderful class! We read the Fox News article together. It was quite difficult for me, but I always wanted to study Fox News articles, because Japanese media don't get sources from Fox News. Mark kindly taught me some difficult words and underlying political issues. Although we might have different stances in politics, today's realistic lesson was undoubtedly productive to me.  今日も有意義なレッスンでした。Mark とは、記事の学習に入る前に近況報告や最近のニュースに関して意見交換をしたりします。思い返すと何年か前 Eigox を始めてから暫くは、社会問題のディスカッションをする事などとても無理でした。Mark をはじめ、色々な先生に指導して頂き何とか自分の考えを伝えられるようになりました。感謝しています。上達が感じられず、気落ちする事も何度もありましたし、今もあります。そういう時は初心に帰り単語力をつける努力（アプリなどを使って）をしています。又レッスン前はしっかり予習をし、25分を最大限有効に使えるようにしています。その他自分なりに色々工夫してこれからも楽しんで続けていきたいと思います。

 Before studying the article about Hitler's suicide, we discussed some topics including the US/Canada border and Canadian ice wine. As I'd quit drinking, I recommended ice wine to Mark in order to live vicariously through him. I really enjoyed the lesson! Until next time.

 Today's article was about Hitler's suicide. It wasn't easy to understand as it contained some historical events and geopolitical circumstances.
