Hello, I am Kristian or Kris. I am a teacher of English from West Borneo, Indonesia with 16 years of secondary school teaching. Teaching English has been my passion and I learn English as a Foreign language as well like many of you, Japanese. I love reading stories or short stories and therefore, I love to retell them to friends or to have conversations about them. I am open to have disccussions on any topics in English from beginner's to advanced level. My main motivation to learn English is to open doors to the world and to make lasting friendship. In my approach to language learning, I put the emphasis on practice or performance therefore for me to be able to use the language fluently is far more important that just knowing the grammar of the language. To teach English, I use role plays, question and answer, conversations, exercises, pronunciation drills. Sometimes, I use songs and short movies to teach listening to my students.
